Based at the Adelaide Studios, production is underway in South Australia on season 2 of Wolf Creek, the highly anticipated second season of its award-winning Stan Original drama series (SVOD).  Director Greg McLean and star John Jarratt continue their hugely successful collaboration in the world of Wolf Creek, with Jarratt reprising his iconic role as the outback apex predator Mick Taylor, who returns with a vengeance after his season 1 showdown.

A six-part drama series, Wolf Creek season 2 is a high-end psychological thriller pitting a diverse cast of characters against an inhospitable, remote landscape, whose lethal dangers are personified by the series’ infamous serial killer.

The South Australian Film Corporation‘s CEO Annabelle Sheehan said “SAFC is delighted to welcome production of Wolf Creek back to South Australia, in its next instalment of this iconic Australian thriller series. One of the many advantages to shooting in South Australia is the easy access to the majestic yet fearsome outback locations which are so firmly rooted in the character of this story.”

Wolf Creek is a Screentime (a Banijay Group company) production in association with Emu Creek Pictures, financed with the assistance of the South Australian Film Corporation. International sales are being handled by Banijay/Zodiak.

Rory Callaghan, CEO of Screentime said “Screentime is very excited to be collaborating with Greg McLean and SVOD Stan on another thrilling season of Wolf Creek. Season 2 of the much loved series and it’s shaping up to be a massive ride for audiences, old and new.”

Wolf Creek Season 2 will release exclusively on Stan.
