Spectrum Films has been building capability for multiple full‑service post‑production projects in Brisbane with key new hire, Finishing Supervisor and Colourist Kim Bjørge, being the latest addition to the West End facility.

Kim joins Spectrum Films as their Brisbane based finishing lead and brings a wealth of experience and talent to the team with recent credits including Faraway Downs and The Portable Door as Online Editor, and Ricky Stanicky, Audrey and Elvis as Colourist.

Adam Archer, Head of Finishing and VFX at Spectrum Films says of the hiring “Kim is one of only a handful of finishing artists in the country that have a very broad technical knowledge and a depth of experience across all picture post workflows, combine that with his talent as a colourist, and it makes him an incredible addition to our team. The hiring of Bjørge comes in tandem with the appointment of sound designer and creative talent Dan Brumm (Bluey, Rock Island Mysteries) to the sound team at Spectrum’s partner company Folklore Sound in Brisbane.
