Queensland, Australia, is home to world-class Post, Digital and Visual Effects companies and facilities with a wealth of talented specialists and expertise, and a track record of delivering high-end international film and television productions.

The 10 per cent, uncapped Post, Digital and Visual Effects (PDV) Incentive, administered by state screen agency Screen Queensland, aims to attract film and television projects to choose post-production companies in Queensland.

The grant is open to international and national projects with a minimum spend of AU$500,000 in Queensland, and can also be used in conjunction with the Australian Government’s Location, Post-Production or Producer Offsets.

Queensland has several full-service, visual effects, animation and sound facilities, including Ausfilm Members:

All incentive applications must be made prior to commencement of post-production. The next application due dates are:
– 7 July, 2021
– 1 September, 2021
– 27 October, 2021

Applications for the incentive are assessed in accordance with a number of guidelines.
