Screen Tasmania is proud to present Stanley in North West Tasmania and the Tasman Peninsula in Southern Tasmania.
The historic village of Stanley is located on the north-west coast of Tasmania and is a 90 minute drive from Devonport, and 60 minutes from Burnie. Both Burnie and Devonport have domestic airports.
One of the most picturesque areas of the state, the village of Stanley is nestled at the base of the geologic formation called The Nut, an ancient volcanic plug which rises 150 metres from the sea.
The Tasman Peninsula is located within the Tasman National Park, which is approximately 85 minutes drive from Hobart International Airport. The Tasman Peninsula is well known for its natural beauty- its spectacular and rugged coastline, sea caves, blowholes and towering sea cliffs.
In addition, the Tasman Peninsula is known for being home to the Port Arthur Historic site, the best preserved convict site in Australia and among the most significant convict era sites worldwide.
