After delivering post-production on season one of NBCU’s thrilling TV series La Brea, The Post Lounge is delighted to welcome the production team back to Victoria after last week’s announcement that it has been picked up for a second season.

The team at The Post Lounge provided digital dailies services, editorial systems and technical services, VFX I/O, remote editing and remote colour review support, plus full picture post-production, colour grade, mastering and delivery for season one. 

Written by David Appelbaum and filmed in Melbourne and around Victoria, La Brea is an epic adventure that begins when a massive sinkhole opens in the middle of Los Angeles pulling hundreds of people and buildings into its depths. Those who fall in find themselves in a mysterious and dangerous primeval land, where they have no choice but to band together to survive. Meanwhile, the rest of the world desperately seeks to understand what happened. In the search for answers, one family torn apart by this disaster will have to unlock the secrets of this inexplicable event to find a way back to each other. 
 
La Brea is currently playing on NBC in the US and will play on 9Now in Australia in 2022.
