Framestore – or Method Studios as they were known when they completed this work – are extremely proud to start awards season with both wins and nominations under their belt
The company received the Australian Production Design Guild’s WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) 3D Design for a Digital Production or Performance Award for work on Marvel film, Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings, led by VFX Supervisor Josh Simmonds, and CG Supervisor Nathan Ortiz.
The company was also nominated for work on Mortal Kombat (Avi Goodman, VFX Supervisor; Nicholas Tripodi, Animation Supervisor), and The Tomorrow War (Josh Simmonds, VFX Supervisor; Nathan Ortiz, CG Supervisor).
Additionally, at the AEAF AWARDS the company has been nominated for Feature Film VFX for their work on The Tomorrow War and for Feature Film Sequence for their work on Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, winners will be announced on September 28.
