The Australian-owned full-service post-production company has cemented an enviable reputation both internationally and domestically for its exceptional capabilities, high creative standards and fast and flawless work.
Owner and Managing Director Kurt Royan said major international projects filming in Australia were increasingly engaging The Post Lounge to oversee digital dailies processing and editorial systems integration. With custom built facilities in Brisbane’s Woolloongabba and Melbourne’s Collingwood creative precincts – including state-of-the-art mobile and near/on-set capabilities – The Post Lounge has scale at the ready to service film projects across Australia.
“Our facilities and systems have been implemented with versatility in mind and we are extremely adept at managing multiple large-scale projects concurrently,” Mr Royan said.
“Every production is unique and requires its own bespoke workflow. Working closely with everyone involved in the chain, we’re experts in ensuring we maximise the dollars spent are reflected on screen.”
“We work closely with the studio production teams to conduct thorough testing with the Directors of Photography and extended departments to confirm the dailies we supply are of the highest quality and accurately reflect their experience on-set.”
“We have state-of-the-art technology and tried-and-tested systems in place, we hire creative and hard-working leaders in their field and we consistently demonstrate our ability to handle extremely high volumes of work with professionalism and of course a little of our trademark flair.”

That flair extends beyond delivering premium work to include a customer service standard that exceeds all expectations.
Mr Royan recounts a recent major international production where The Post Lounge not only worked with the studio to customise high-volume workflows and implement a 24-hour roster but furnished and decorated the off-site post-production space.
“It was important to us that the space the post team occupied was not only functional but creatively inspiring. We wanted the editors to feel at home. We completely transformed the space into a character-filled post-production studio in line with the director’s own style.”
