The production will provide employment for more than 200 Australian cast and crew, and more than 1000 Australian extras.

Ausfilm CEO, Kate Marks celebrates this recent announcement on the back of two other large-scale international productions supported by the Australian Government this week: The Fall Guy (Universal Pictures) filming in NSW and Wizards! (PlanB/See Saw Films) filming in Queensland.

Marks says, “We are delighted that Australia continues to be a top destination of choice for international studios and production companies, thanks to our globally competitive screen production incentives. These incentives demonstrate the success of this program in continuing to attract international productions to Australia. This ensures there is a consistent pipeline to help support and grow our film and television sector.”

“Australia’s additional advantage over other filming jurisdications is access to our talented crews, actors, technicians and world-class post, sound, music and VFX companies and sound stages. Plus we have stunning and diverse locations across the country.”
