Get ready for some juicy entertainment — the highly-anticipated limited series Apples Never Fall is set to film in sunny Queensland, Australia this month (March). Based on the best-selling novel by Australian author Lianne Moriarty, the series boasts an all-star cast including Annette Bening and Sam Neill.
Produced by Heyday Television and managed by Matchbox Pictures (both part of Universal International Studios), the project was attracted to the area thanks to the Australian Government’s Location Incentive program and Screen Queensland’s Production Attraction Strategy. The production is expected to inject over $79 million into the Australian economy and create job opportunities for over 260 local cast and crew, providing a significant boost to the thriving national film industry. Apples Never Fall will stream on NBCUniversal’s Peacock in the US.
