Disney+ Original Series Shipwreck Hunters Australia recently explored Western Australia’s (WA) “Treasure Coast” thanks to support from Screenwest. The six-part series takes viewers on an epic expedition from the comfort of their living rooms. Filming took place off the Pilbara, Kimberley, Gascoyne, Mid-West and Fremantle coastlines.

Productions can access the WA Production Attraction Incentive to receive a minimum of 10% back on their WA Expenditure or the WA Regional Screen Fund for up to 50% of their Regional WA Expenditure.

The coastline provides a variety of unspoilt backdrops, from the ancient fiery red cliffs contrasting against the pristine blue oceans of Broome and the Kimberley to the World Heritage Ningaloo Coast with colourful coral, turquoise waters, and snow-white sand beaches.

The port cities of Geraldton and Fremantle are sprinkled with heritage buildings and picturesque harbour locations.
